Tutorial patch shows the most basic synthesizer.
It consists of an oscillator "[osc~":[osc~ a volume control "[*~":[*~
and an output device "[dac~":[dac~. We will expand on this idea
and we will build a simple FM (frequency modulation)
synthesizer. For now, open
tut3.pd
patch in PD and familiarize yourself with with the controls and
accompanying text.
