Antoine Rousseau home page
Hi, I'm Antoine Rousseau, or Ant1r; sometimes moonix.
Since 2002 I've worked on various artistic projects, and I think almost all are pd-centered.
I like sound synthesis, physical interfaces (that I mostly build), rhythm, video synthesis, mobile apps ; I like making art in the street, and offering to the passer-by to imply theirself into this art. You can find some informations about this there (French language only...) on Metalu artistic collective website.
I've added some features to the excellent Chris McCormick's project PdDroidParty, which makes it possible to build an entire Android application on Pd, including the graphical interface. Then, for porting NinjaTune's app NinjaJamm to Android devices (then back to iOS devices), I wrote POF externals, which adds to Pd the power of openFrameworks.
I've also written following utilities (currently hosted on the github's Metalu.net account) :
- moonlib externals.
- AutoPreset abstractions : simple state saving system (like rradical/ssad, among other ones). It aims to be simple and yet powerful. One particularity of this system is to be able to interpolate float parameters between different settings (parameter morphing).
- PdTl abstractions : PdTl is a basic events timeline for puredata ; it is based on AutoPreset abstractions.
PdTl is entirely written in pd (abstractions only); so no curve here, nor waveform, only "blocks" ; yet it can be very useful. Zoom and scroll help you to have a global view, yet being able to be very precise. See 0tlHelp.pd for explanations.
