this is the pre-multiple-window object for interfacing both window and rendering.
gemwin can be emulated by gemcontrol + gemwindow by a simple trick: all unknown commands to gemcontrol are passed to the connectected gemwindow.
the initial framerate for gemwin has to be passed to gemcontrol.
